The police arrest the man she points out, but it turns out to be the wrong person: a young Korean man named Ji Hoon. Despite his anger and humiliation, he takes her out to dinner since she has lost all her money, and in return, she agrees to model for his amateur film. What follows is a magical and romantic two days. Upon returning to their respective countries, Tomoko must return to her nine-to-five job and Ji Hoon must resume studying to join the family business rather than pursuing his dream of becoming a film director. But soon the two begin to email each other and rekindle their relationship despite the distance and obstacles between them. Marking the very first time in television history that a drama has been co-produced between Japan and South Korea, the story shows us that love has no borders

Friends
mhmmm, this drama was really good. Although short it was really romantic. With only four episodes this drama told a very good story. It actually didn’t seem very short when i was watching. What makes this drama so good, is that even with the language barrier, you were still able to understand the events happening. The actors and actress chosen to play these two lover were very nice. Especially Fukada Kyoko who plays Asai, Fukada is now a really popular actress, playing in dramas like mirai koshi meguru, gakko ja oshierarenai! and much more. However the same can’t really be said to Won Bin who plays Ji Hoon. Although his acting in friends was charming. He hasn’t really appeared any more in the area of media. Such a great actor like him hasn’t produced anything new since 2002 when this drama was made. Sigh. I wish though that those two would make more, as i really enjoy their portrayals of characters. I’ve kinda of gone off track, but what the hell, it can’t be helped when i’m rambling about an awesome drama such as this. There’s lots of time skips in this drama though. examples, Ji Hoon enlists into the South Korean army for his mandatory service, and Asai is left living alone, yet still in love with him during his years of service in the army. Which is sort of hard to believe. Or maybe i don’t understand, but how does one still love someone dearly even though they are apart for so long? The feeling of love would disappear…no?
Anyways…
8.5/10
